Marketplace in Indra Chowk

Had a nice day at work today, same old same old. It seems like my test is coming along well so I'm very happy about that. We did some shopping south of Thamel for some last-minute things (skirts, shirts, souvenirs). These leaves are sold in bowls where you can put food and offer it to the priests/monks or the gods. I think they're from some kind of holy tree but I forget what I was told (feel free to chime in!)

Off to Lumbini tomorrow. Finally a day off from work!
