The fool on the hill

Roaring Forties

Southwold again (well, it's so nice).
On the sea front were a group of people dressed in 40s clothes and dancing to Benny Goodman or Duke Ellington and the like. It was a fabulous sight and I got chatting and ended up asking to take a group photo. The lady in the red dress showing a bit of leg organized it through the PA and they were soon ready for the pic. They were such a happy bunch and they made everyone else look like tramps in their great getups. It's one of my favorite ever pictures.
I tried to make it look old and a bit blurry but I made the mistake of using an ultrawide lens which was probably unknown on a roll film camera of the time - so not so very authentic.
And can you spot the 21st century impostor on the end?
There's a bit of video here.
