Looks Good To Me

Dancing With the Bride

The wedding was in the orchard at the home of the bride's parents, in a secluded spot near the Canadian border. The house is perched on a large rock against the base of a steep forested hill. The bride's father built the house using lumber harvested from the property.

It was a beautiful setting for a wedding, but difficult to capture in a photo because of the stark contrast between sun and shade. The food was excellent -- the groom is a chef and prepared most of it himself. It was one of the most enjoyable weddings I've been to. It didn't hurt that there were three kegs of beer, and they were tapped before the ceremony.

We stayed long enough to hear the band play some great music that almost got me dancing, but I managed to restrain myself, and kept taking photos.
