Voyage au bout de la nuit

I'd like to say the revival of my bookcase has got as far as Céline's classic of the same title (it's up there, amid a pile of dusty French novels), but actually I'm in lighter (and more amusing) territory with Cold Comfort Farm, which made me laugh out loud several times in public today - on this very train, in fact, which I had to sprint to catch, and whose passengers looked at me as if I was mad as I giggled into my book.
