Diarmuids adventure

End of a better day !

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift

After the trauma of yesterday ...The boat (and not Burnley losing to Swansea) today has been a much better day. Spent it trying to get the house sorted; we have visitors this week before Tess goes off to complete more of the South West Coast Path. Popped into to see Tess' dad and finished the evening at Mudeford Quay, the scene of yesterdays anguish but today a far more tranquil place. Tea at the local hostelry followed by a magical Christchurch sunset

And found on the dove-grey edge of the sea
A pearl-pale, high-born lady, who rode
On a horse with bridle of findrinny;
And like a sunset were her lips,
A stormy sunset on doomed ships....

(William Butler Yeats (1865-1939), Irish poet, playwright. "The Wanderings of Oisin.")
