Mechanic

There are numerous small workshops in and around Banepa, with the workers frequently living on the premises. I pass this particular 'garage' on the way in to my office, and usually exchange a few words each morning.

On this occasion the guys were sitting drinking tea in the adjacent tea shop, so I sat with them, after which I was offered a tour of the workshop. (in truth a corrugated tin hut).

It was difficult to get an 'action' shot, as the guys were keen to be photographed, but I think this captures a little of the work environment...
