The spiritual and the secular...

One of the things that fascinates me about Nepal is the way in which temples, be they Hindu or Buddhist, are very much part of the fabric of society. They are very much 'lived in' by the people. (I wrote a bit more about this in a blog entry a couple of months ago. Click here if you are interested).

The Narayan Temple in Banepa is no exception, as this group of card playing men attest...
