Sumner, Christchurch, NZ

Sumner Beach is a very beautiful part of Christchurch City, to have this ever changing view everyday would be pure bliss!

Hubby, Daughter A and I went to Sumner Beach for a nice relaxing brunch.  The day was not hot as it is in the heat of summer but a little sun with a few showers and those clouds were changing looking quite thunderous at times and then turning white and puffy but they always looked powerful. A few people on the beach walking dogs, jogging or walking, surfers and paddleboarders and children paddling.

I liked the colours and the sea mist along the bottom of the cliffs, the gentle curves of the coastline, the wet sand and the waves lapping the beach. The contrast between the clouds full of energy, power and the sea below quietly, rolling in with not a care in the world.

Brunch was a lovely way to spend time with Daughter A.  She is very focused in her studies and is firmly set on her goals. We are very proud of her achievements and look forward to having her home for the Uni Summer Break - mid Oct - Feb/Mar 2011 :)

I'm slowly catching up with my blips and comments, its taking a little while as I have a busy household :)
