Will

Today's the day ................. that Will finishes work

This is Will's last day in gainful employment. Tomorrow he will be a retired man with the world his oyster......

He will have plenty of things to fill his days, most of them nice - like watercolour painting, walking, travelling, visiting friends - some a bit like hard work - like painting the house, sorting out the attic, digging the allotment. But he's looking forward to it all!

And although I will keep working my three days a week, I'm sure I will benefit from him being retired - nice tea ready for me when I get home and lots of things planned for my days-off.
