Apparently, the weather has been lovely.

I've been working at the Glasgow School of Art for the last 3 days. Stuck in a window-less lecture theatre that's painted a very dark green (Dulux's own Midnight Death Green), we haven't even been able to SEE the sunshine never mind enjoy it. We would come outside for lunch, with squinting eyes and grey, pallid faces, and be surrounded by people basking in the rays.
Fortunately, we finished today so we won't be in there until Christmas like those poor guys down the Chilean mine, but I did get a the tiniest of glimpses into their nightmare.
No doubt, it'll chuck it down over the weekend.
