Exciting potential

We started preparations for recording our new album tonight.
Drum set up and guitar set up tonight. Took about 90mins for each. Pretty good for a drum set up.
We have been The Lorelei for 20 years next year. Ok 9 of those we weren't but that's a long tale for another time. Rest assured you will hear about it.
Well, a lovely man called Captain Tom of Fat Hippy Records has agreed to give us a deal for an album. It's very exciting for a bunch like us. Nervous, scared even that it will be up to scratch and give us a chance to play places we never have and produce a body of work we can be proud of.
It's not as easy being in The Lorelei as it used to be. We all have jobs, kids and significant others and really on paper we must be an unlikely crew to be offered such an exciting opportunity, we must have something good to offer.
So in short. Guess what my blips are going to be about for the next wee while?
