New Tesco Store (under construction), Banchory

Occupying a prime site at the town's entrance on the main road from Aberdeen, many visitors' first glimpse of Banchory in the coming decades is likely to be this new Tesco store.

We've been promised it will be an "eco store", but I guess I'm not alone in wondering what this will mean in terms of its actual footprint on the area (and on the wider world as well).
