Digging 27: Rain

I took two photos today. This is the other one ;)

A very wet and grotty day, everything moved at a snail's pace as the ground was so slippery that speed would cause a mudbath.

This picture was taken at teabreak (so no raindrops in the puddle). The masonry is from one of the original stairways at the Old College Quad, replaced in the 1950s. The cobbling probably was associated with the Edinburgh University library building of 1614.

M is off down South for work tomorrow morning, then on Thursday it's Faither's funeral, she has to get back by a mad early train to get there on time. Blipping might take a backseat for us for a couple of days...but we'll be back commenting soon!

Thanks to OldMills :)
