Window to the soul?

Thought I'd try a different sort of photo today - experimented a bit with taking a picture of my eye and this one is the best of my fairly feeble attempts.

Maybe next time I'll progress to both eyes, and even get it properly in focus but it's harder than I thought, holding my iphone up to my eye, tapping the screen to focus & taking the photo.

It did give me the opportunity to browse other people's photos of eyes and there are some unusual and fascinating shots there.
