Unstaged - the finalists

Yes, it's time to unbate your breath, jump off the tenterhooks and slide back to the middle of your seat. We're delighted to announce the community nominations for Unstaged - The Theatre Of Everyday Life.

But before we do, we'd like to extend a massive thanks to everyone who's taken part. We received well over 3,500 entries, which have been whittled down to just ten finalists by the Blipfoto community. That was an enormous task which we couldn't have contemplated without your help. Collectively, you've clicked on the entries 562,515 times since last Thursday, giving out 42,936 nominations. You've done an admirable job of choosing ten shots deserving of a place on the shortlist.

So without further ado, here they are (in alphabetical order)...

4boys - Beautiful day at the beach
abstracteyes - 64 Years.......
astroman - Painters
BS - Indomitable spirit
distractedhausfrau - Tiny Dancers
farsidehues - A morning in the village
h - schoolgirls
Joy3 - Daily Job
nickmorrow - Rain
ooo - Reality Shared

Well done to each and every one of you.

These entries will be put in front of the judging panel, who will deliberate and settle on an overall winner and two runners up over the next fortnight. That panel consists of:

The winners will be announced at Channel 4 headquarters in London and here on the Blipblog on the evening of Monday 27 September, and the prizes will be delivered by whatever means necessary as quickly as possible thereafter.

There's an open invitation to all Blippers for the Channel 4 event, but spaces are limited. If you'd like join us for a wee glass of something fizzy and a celebration of the winners, please drop a comment below or get in touch using the contact page.
