By Special Request, a Day at the Shops

Final day of our holiday before the long drive back to Portsmouth and I had a special request from Emma and her mum for a trip to the shops. To be fair, they did ask the day before, but Nana thought it was a bit too hot. Well, it was a scorching 24 deg C. So, we got up early (10am) and set off to Bayonne for a look around. Of course, no shopping trip is complete without a few disagreements. Nana wanted the poshest chocolates in town and some exclusive lipstick (discontinued in the UK). Oliver simply wanted an ice cream. I wanted a look round and take a few photos. Poor Emsie felt like being dragged from pillar to post!

So, mission accomplished, we made our way back to the car before it got too hot - stopping off at this fountain for a final photograph. It was final as I had ran out of space on my memory card - a photographers nightmare!!

After this, we went back to the campsite where Oliver and I escaped to the pool while the ladies started to pack up for the return home.
