Cheeky Abbie on the autumn hunt

We had quite a lazy Sunday morning, as we all had a very busy day yesterday. Bert and I emptied out and moved a few cupboards in preparation for the next round of renovation in our house whilst the girls were on a day trip with the scouts to the seaside.

However, in the afternoon we all got our energy levels back up and went into the forrest domain Vrieselhof in Oelegem (close to Antwerp). We were hunting for conckers, but couldn't find any. We did find some lovely toadstools and Abbie had great fun tickling everyone with a long grass plume (which she is trying to do to me in this shot).

Needless to say we had a great time and in the end we made a detour to our local park, where we were sure to find some (almost a bucket full) conkers!
