The Pensioner

Looks like a posed shot, but in fact the maw was staring intently past this statue of Churchill to an organ recital going on in the main hall at Kelvingrove. We'd gone through to catch the Glasgow Boys exhibition before it closes and I'm glad we did. All the main stuff from Kelvingrove and the National Gallery is there, but there are some great wee nuggets like Guthrie's pastels. Some pishy stuff too based around the vogue for anything Japanese in the 1890s that could be chucked out. Aye.
And later on I went to see Gainsbourg again. And it was terrific again. Aye, again.
So, must get the camera ready for the morn. There's a man in a white stetson hat heading up Bruntsfield between 12:15 and 13:15. I shall try to capture him.
