Not Road Kill

Dinner (or supper as my son calls it) is pheasant. It'll be the first time I've had pheasant this year, but I popped into my butcher yesterday asking for some rabbit - which he'd just sold out of, so I ended up with this instead.

Its just for Chris and I - the children had beef casserole with mashed swede, mashed potato and peas for tea. So we're having pheasant roasted in the oven with a creme fraiche sauce, caramelised apples, brocolli and carrots. Finished off with some 'Spagnola' ice cream - of which there is very little left.
