Somewhere over there is the Pope

Another iPhone snap I'm afraid (and another square crop).

I took this from one of the balconies in Tyneham Close, a small post-war block in my ward.

Despite having an horizon that features, amongst other things, Battersea Power Station, the Palace of Westminster, the London Eye and - when the leaves have fallen from the tree on the right - the City of London what is it that dominates? An ugly gas-holder.

It's strange when thinking of that and the power station. They are quite close to each other and both reminders of the area's industrial heritage. But I only love one of them, perhaps because only one of them's got soul.
