Dr Donnie and Professor Coco

An early blip...

Today was my last chance to visit the now regionally famous Kinellar Shed - built by retired medic Donnie Ross in his back garden. The shed became his NEOS venue, showing his own, his niece's and John Rutherford's art work. (BTW NEOS is North East Open Studios)

Coco is the rather splendid chocolate labrador who bounded about and greeted me with enthusiastic kisses! Coco is also known for his intelligent and sometimes esoteric musings on that well-kent social network. It was strange meeting the dog who has an online persona, and finding his doggieness is just like the rest of his breed! What a great creature!

But the shed! It's wonderful, and who knows what else may happen there. As a fan of shed-builders and shed-users (Like James May of Top Gear!) I was dead impressed to see it used as a gallery space. Loved Jenny's little beany ladybugs - would've bought one if I wasn't a poor graduate! Pity it rained.

Glad to finally meet in reality some of my online friends
