Sunday Bikers (Porch View II)

Around midday today a group of motorcyclists passed our house on the way to downtown Northampton--13 in all, though one or two stragglers may have missed this blip. We see such groups occasionally--mostly on weekends, is my impression.

There's a speed gauge just in front of the 10th and 11th bikers; they appear to be motoring at 30 miles an hour (49 kmph), just 5 mph over the speed limit of 25 mph. The gauge is temporary--most drivers seem to drive somewhat over the speed limit.

I was just in front of the porch which appears in yesterday's blip of our just-delivered newspaper--you'll be glad to hear that today's Sunday edition arrived in good order--voluminous as usual.
