Bifrost

The Vikings believed that a rainbow bridge called Bifrost spanned the distance between Asgard and Midgard.

In Ireland leprechaun's are said to gaurd pots of gold at the end of rainbows.

In Hawaii's Manoa Valley the beautiful rainbow maiden can be seen playing wherever the light of sun or moon touches the misty rain.

And in medieval Germany, many believed that for forty years before the end of the world, no rainbows would appear. The saying goes: "So the rainbow appear, the world has no fear, until thereafter forty years."

I think we're OK for a while folks!
