Digging33: Quern

Again, only photo today, and I've really ramped up the saturation and contrast.
Possibly you might see two redder oval patches in the yellower clay on either side of the pit with a stone in it?
This is actually a fairly obvious pair of graves for this site!

The stone in the middle is, I think, half of a rotary quern...it looks like there is a square hole in the middle of half a circular disc of sandstone. A quern is used for milling flour. I've seen broken ones used as grave-markers at other sites....
