Life with The Pinks

conkers, apple picking, and the pink coat

This afternoon we went on a walk to find some signs of Autumn for Master Pink's homework. We collected some lovely leaves, conkers, sycamore helicopters, and other bits and bobs. We did a swishy swashy walk through the swishy swashy grass (we didn't find any bears though). Baby Pink wore her rather marvellous new pink coat. We stopped at Grandma Pink's on the way home to raid her garden for any further Autumnal delights, and found her in the garden doing tidying up and apple picking jobs. She has a fabulous apple grabbing tool, that we all had a go at, and successfully picked some huge bramleys from the tree. Baby pink sat and talked to the chickens, and picked up all the little apples on the ground, while I helped pick up the bigger apples that Mr Pink had climbed up the tree to get down.
