Annie's In Oregon

Dashboard Gardening

Having done a lot of riding in my beloved's car this weekend, I have taken many shots of his dashboard garden. It has been a cool summer on the coast and we have a nice layer of moss on the top. He has planted several fun things in the little planter he constructed on his dashboard, some are living and some, just fun! My favorite is the little Nemo that turns like a compass when we round a corner. The newest addition of a peacock feather found at Annie's Cottage is a lovely diversion on long drives.

After gathering several clear shots and many "drive by shootings" of the ocean, (which included some wonderfully interesting distortions-a traffic cone being my fav-) this evening shot of Lobster Creek Bridge, as we journeyed back from wandering up the Rogue River to Agnes Campground, became the one with the most intrigue. Some of the others are here http://bit.ly/bG1Y83

It was a road trip along the Pacific and up the Rogue to remember, complete with bugs smeared on the windshield to say, it's been a long trip!
