My Year in Pictures

I'll have one of those!

Backblipped on 28th September

Bit of slow start to the day - James had got up early to do some work that he'd not managed to get finished before coming away.

However, with various wi-fi problems, he was much longer than originally planned - so first outing was actually lunch!

Gorgeous pasty in Helston from the Horse and Jockey - after years of extensive pasty tasting we can both categorically say these are the best! And eating them by the duck pond in the sun was lovely - and Bill enjoyed the odd crumb or two too!

Then back to Trelowarren for a 9 mile walk around the estate and surrounding area.

First thing we spotted though was the doggy bin at the carpark - as I'd just seen horrigans doggy stile I thought this a suitable pairing!

Then there was a bit of exploring of the Fogu - an underground chamber - I did not want to venture in as it was pitch black - and I mean pitch black! - but James and Bill explored by the light of my flash from the entrance!

And a gorgeous mixture of fields and woods that we passed through - perfect.

Then down to Tremayne Quay which was lovely - however the tide was out and Bill decided to add stinky mud to the sand and salt collection from yesterday - lovely - not!

Wanted to have an early evening drink at the Halzephron Inn and watch the sun go down - but whilst we got the sun going down we were too early for a drink. Note to self for the next time - they don't open until 6.30pm!

So back to Porthleven, where this cheeky chappie joined in with our drinks!

And more glorious sunset views on the way home.

Another perfect day.
