I wonder....?

Our third day in the Lakes and the weather was poor. The tops were covered with cloud and mist, and the sun hardly broke through where we were walking. Had a great day nonetheless.

We saw this ruined building on our way downhill at the end of the walk. We had walked from Patterdale up to Angle Tarn, then on to Hayes Water and looped back to Patterdale. We wondered who had built this. Had someone lived here? Was it a shepherd's hut? I'm sure that S could weave a great story around this old building - it had quite a romantic air.

I played around with the exposures and took 3 bracketed images that I used to make this HDR final image. Just another little experiment!
