River Avon (Salisbury Avon)

Today I am continuing my River series with a look at the other River Avon in Wiltshire, the Salisbury Avon. This river begins as the Upper Avon, stemming from two streams. One flows southeast from Bishops Canning, and the other southwest from Milton Lilbourne, flowing through Pewsey.
These two streams meet just outside Upavon, where I spent some time photographing the headwater this afternoon, and might have blipped this.
However, the presence of these two regal swans swimming upstream a little further south, emerging from the bridge at Enford, with strands of weed in their bills, won out.
