Kitchen Garden

A really lazy day today, catching up on Blogs, reading the papers, and adult conversation.

There has been lots of laughter this weekend ... far too much food, a bit of chocolate and the odd glass of wine.

This photo is taken in the kitchen garden, where lots of lovely veg, fruit and herbs are grown. Yesterday I saw leeks being cut, which were served for dinner in a very tasty cheese and leek souffle. The winds and rain were so strong last night, they blew down one of the apple tress. We had fun scrumping the very juicy apples and pears growing in the garden.

Alas tomorrow is Monday and it's back to the real world and back to work. Have a good week!
