Today's the day ....................... to go to a Conference

Today's been a bit of a blur actually......

Up just before the crack of dawn to catch a train to Manchester for the annual Museums Association Conference. It lasts for three days, so I will be doing the same thing tomorrow and Wednesday.

It's very enjoyable because you get to listen to lots of good seminars and keynote addresses - and you meet lots of people, some old friends and others brand new. There's no time to hang about though. The timetable is very strict and it's a major achievement to find your way to the right room at the right time in the labyrinth of rooms that exist in the Manchester Central Convention Centre (or the old GMEX as was) where the conference is being held.

I took my trusty camera of course, but this is all I could manage. A blurry view from a speeding train ............
