Little Do They know.

The poppies on our hill have budded, bloomed and are now interesting old seed heads.

Their cousins produce substances which cause so much global turmoil. Just a plant. But the effect is huge. It is crazy isn't it? Who was the first person to grab a Poppy and think, Hmmm, I wonder what this will do for me?

There are houses in London, New York and so on, all funded by these plants. It amazes me.

I see a fat little spider has set up home in one. Rather a good choice I imagine, as he has a cosy little house pod with a roof!
