Fly me to the moon...

A good day today.

Something at work that's been brewing away for a while finally came off.

Later, I popped in to see Billy and Billy. The two Billys ran a record shop and label in the '80s and have amazing stories to tell. They had a big hand in the discovery of Sinead O'Connor & Paul Hardcastle and they were also the first to publish the track "Girl you know it's true" (later made infamous by MIlli Vanilli).

Billy No.1 now runs a specialist plant nursery and we talked ebay shops for a while. Billy No.2 usually amazes me with something from the past but outdid himself tonight - first of all coming out with an original Johnny Cash Acetate for the song "no charge" and then bringing out a reel to reel with outtakes from "Let it Be" that John Lennon gave him.

Going round there is a pretty good cure for the drabs.
