Life can be so sloe...

I couldn't wait any longer for the frosts to arrive, especially as we are experiencing an Indian Summer flush righ now. So I went to my favorite Blackthorn bushes and picked some Sloe berries this week, in the glorious evening sunslight and froze them.

I love the abundance of Autumn and the fabulous goodies one can gather and turn into utterly delicious treats that will be consumed during the colder, winter months. Or even given away as treasured presents.
