Time to clean your shoes mummy dearest

I love a Mondays. Everyone is up and out early and silence descends.

Whilst my achievements today were very run of the mill, the satisfaction of finally hoovering out the car before we were able to double dig the front passenger seat and plant winter leeks was wonderful. Simple things.

On the way back from coffee and a chat I was able to walk through one of our local parks. After the grey dull light of the weekend it was a joy to see the sun streaming through the trees and embellishing the glory of autumn colour.

It makes me smile every time, even though I did go home with dog poo on my shoes.
