City Lights

This is the bit I look forward to most on my bike ride to work - the downhill! It takes me 40 minutes to go uphill then I get here and it's freewheeling time, say good morning to the woman having a fag outside the children's nursery, avoid the pit in the road that was supposedly filled in last month, watch out for the taxi driver reversing from his drive, turn right,left, right, left at the bottom and I'm there.

The view of the city made me think of City Song by Lindisfarne.
