Copinsay

A walk along the southeast shores and cliffs of Deerness. The sea was amazingly calm and there was no wind. I managed to track down a few migrants such as blackcap and lesser whitethroat. I came across some very fresh otter tracks; so fresh that I think the animal must have heard me coming and scooted.
This is the uninhabited island of Copinsay. I liked the light as it broke through the clouds. There is a farmhouse on sale there, but it needs a lot of work, and there is no fresh water.
