Spent the morning planting daffodils on the woody bank (much easier job than yesterday!) and crocuses in the snake's garden behind the house.

In the afternoon we went to Crex Meadows near Grantsburg to try and find the Sandhill Cranes. Sure enough, a large flock were grazing in a farmer's field just where we were told they would be. They were beautifully camouflaged.
