Guess what...

This is the inside of the 3D stereoscope I posted a couple of days ago. This photographic piece of history is aprox' 100 years old and displays glass slides to perfection and the machinery inside still works perfectly.
So guess what - I bought a brand new Sony a330 today. With no small amount of excitement I charged the battery patiently for 2½ hours stuck it in my amazing piece of kit and..... it won't work. "Battery incompatible"
So to say the don't make 'em like they used to is an understatement to say the least.
