Doorknob-Circa 1913

J.P. Brown Residence

Originally a home for a civil servant who built it with embezzled money but was caught.
Briefly a cottage hospital run by his wife.

Sold to Miss Muriel Davies who ran it as a boarding house for young men of good character...references required.

Now in its seventh incarnation as a restaurant.

We were invited out to supper there tonight. Very good it was too.
