The Life Of Ponty Cyclops

Dark Angel

There's something about corvids. They always seem to cast a dark shadowy presence in the garden.
One of the most intelligent birds there are. They have killed the squirrel feeder out the garden now, un-plucking the wire mesh keeping the peanuts in to get at the food. I watched a magpie the other day, trying to untie a knot in a fat filled coconut shell, he was making steady progress before getting frustrated with it. So team work was required, and two magpies managed to get the coconut shell over the bishops crook feeder, and within reach of the their hungry beaks.
There is a colony of Jackdaws around here, this character and his sibling are easily recognised when they visit the garden, as they have slight leucism in their tail feathers (white feathers).
