Up and down

Today four Greenpeace activists scaled the Treasury building to call for the establishment of a green investment bank that would create many jobs. Given the security fears everywhere it seemed an incredibly easy thing to do. They arrived at about 6am, placed a very long ladder against the building, climbed up and attached their ropes for abseiling. All this opposite a police station. They stayed up there until about 3pm and then just abseiled. Having never witnessed anything like this before I was surprised how amicably it all went with the police.
