Mount Cook

We drove home from Wanaka today after a lovely weekend. The sun shone for us and it was great to get away to somewhere so beautiful.

Canterbury and I have started reading the last Harry Potter book (we read it chapter by chapter in tandem - that way the one who finishes first doesn't have to keep the ending a secret for too long!) and so we did lots of reading and relaxing.

Cousteau had numerous walks in beautiful surroundings, nearly killed himself and generally had a great time.

This is Mount Cook from a campground by Lake Pukaki. Our van is going in to be pimped tomorrow so it'll come back in a couple of weeks as a sleeper van. I think this will be one of the places we will head to. Imagine waking up with that view!
