Decisions.

Brrrrrr. Cold, wet and windy today. I didn't even venture out to take this shot.

All the bird seed has gone from the feeder, as it has whirled about in the wind scattering the seed everywhere. No doubt there will be some strange grasses growing in the ditch at the side of the road come the Spring.

The seat did its usual tumble in the wind during the night, and the last of the greenery in the garden is flattening nicely. The windproof netting has now seen better days. Oh - and I have now confirmed that the builder has NOT done the temporary repair to the roof he promised last week, as the water is coming through the light fitting in the bedroom upstairs.

It is now 2p.m. What to do now?
Slightly saintly things:
Walk the dog? Could I maybe wait till the gale stops?
Some housework? My bedroom badly needs tidied and hoovered, dishwasher needs emptying & filling, food is waiting to be cooked for the freezer.
Paperwork? There are some bills to be paid, piles of paper/crap to be sorted out and thrown out.
Printing? I now have the photographic paper to start printing my Christmas cards.....
Slightly sinful things:
Reading? I'm at a good bit in our book club choice at the moment "The Falls" by Joyce Carol Oates.
Blipping? Already doing it.
And when is it socially acceptable to pour the first sherry of the day?

It's always constructive to make a list.
