Heuchera

The soft flowers of the Heuchera sway gently in the breeze playing with the dappled light filtering through the trees.

My small Heuchera plant has many blooms and the foliage is now turning green after the rich reds it displayed during Autumn and Winter.

Home day today with many house jobs to be done before the long weekend. After all my cleaning, washing and scrubbing I took a cuppa into the garden for a quiet wander. There were a few baby blackbirds and thrushes using the garden as some sort of airfield. Its quite amusing watching their little wings flap so fast to cover a short distance. They perch themselves happily on the fence while parents watch close by. The thrushes are still dependant on parents for food but the blackbirds seem to be fossicking amongst the debri of the garden for their food.

Its been a warm sunny Spring day with a clear blue sky. The weather is supposed to be good for our Labour Day long weekend.

Enjoy the weekend :)
