Date Day!

Today Kaz and I decided was 'Date Day' (instead of date night!). Cheryl stayed at our house last night and is staying tonight so she could look after Spence while we went out.

Kaz and I were going to go to the movies but it was such a lovely day that we thought we would go and play golf instead! Our first date was playing 9 holes of golf at Albert Park Golf Course in the city so it's always something we love to do!

We went to Warragul Gold Course, hired our clubs and played the back nine which apparently is a bit easier than the front nine! We are both hacks so we wanted the easier option! There was hardly anyone there which was great so we didn't feel like we were in their way!

It was so lovely being out in the sun, walking around hitting a few balls, chatting with no stress and nowhere we had to be! I forgot to write down the score for one of the holes (I have no idea which one!) and we still had nearly 60 shots each!! Luckily we weren't playing for the score!! It was a lot of fun!

After that we went and had lunch at the Courthouse Restaurant in Warragul. We had a lovely lunch and then went to a plant nursery to pick up some more seedlings for the garden! We came home and planted them then it was time for me to get ready for work!

Spence still has a bit of a temperature and was a bit out of sorts. Hopefully he will get better soon. It is meant to be 28 degrees C tomorrow which will be great! I love the warm weather! Then on Saturday it is meant to be 17 and raining enough rain in one day that we usually get in a month! Not looking forward to that!

This shot was taken with the macro lens of Kaz hitting the ball. I happened to get it at the point where she had just hit the ball so you can see the ball where it started from but also the blur of it being hit as well as the blur of the golf club! The bright bit up the top is the sun glinting off the club as it moved through her swing!!
