A Bee in October

Another quick lunchtime blip today, as am well again and so back at work.

This little chap was on the pavement by my office and I couldn't believe it was still alive in October, although only just and if not a little wet.

At the weekend a massive wasp flew past my head in the bedroom, surely they are not supposed to alive this time of year either.

Or am I wrong, do bees and wasps live longer than I expect, I think I will have to google it.
