Rouen Cathedral

This picture was taken from the end of the main hall of Rouen cathedral looking back towards the main entrance.

Similar to other cathedrals world-wide, or at least 'Europe-wide' it was a very quiet place. A place where the odd pious person can be spotted amongst the tourists. The only noises in this place of worship are the private mumblings of naughty'n a in the confession box or the squeak of shoes on the marble floor. This time though, a young woman kindly broke the awkward silence when she answered her phone and nattered loudly, all the time standing under the gaze of a stain glass St. Peter. Maybe it was a modern form of confession. iPriest.
