Halloween Moon

It was all a bit spooky looking down around the pond this morning, foggy and eerily quiet. Even the sun went guising, dressing itself up to look like a full moon. Catching that witch on her broomstick was a bonus too...

I wasn't sure if the extra hour this weekend was going to be used for more partying or catching up with sleep, so in the end we did both. A walk around the pond taking some pics was just the ticket to clear the cobwebs, of which the fog had thoughtfully brought out an abundance of for Halloween.

Looks like it's going to be a busy night round the doors with witches, grim reapers and Marilyn Monroe's getting ready in the Delph Wynd Daily household. Samantha's ironed Euan's dress and there's a bucketful of trick or treat bags made up in preparation for the visitors. She's currently off on one after one of Euan's wee pals got a bit over enthusiastic with the outdoor decorations and pulled off one of her ghouls. (Now there's a phrase I don't think I've ever used before). Don't fancy being in his shoes when he optimistically rings the doorbell later on and comes face to face with the crabbit old witch (she has a witch costume, I'm in no way making any other statement whatsoever at all on her good self).

Happy Halloween, and welcome to the dark half!

PS: Mind and set those camera clocks back an hour too; just realised that after I'd been out taking these shots.
