Nibbles

I went out to take a shot of the ice still on the pond at lunchtime.

I wasn't impressed with what I took and as I headed back to the warmth I saw the nice green leaves on the rose.

Well - the new leaves were nice and green, but as you can see, something has been having an early lunch on the older leaves.

Whatever it is, it is leaving pretty patterns but I don't think it will do much for the health of the plant in the long term.

But it is too cold to go hunting for the culprit.
